Knutsford is country living within 5-15 minutes of Kamloops, it consists of mainly acreages, farms and ranches, with a couple of small mobile home parks as well. There are no multi-family or townhouse developments within Knutsford. Some areas are within a five-minute drive of Aberdeen Mall, making it very convenient for out of town living with quick access to amenities. Highway 5A (Old Merritt Highway) runs through Knutsford. This area is known for wide-open, rolling hills and great views. Due to its slightly higher elevation, it gets slightly more snow in the winter, but is not quite as hot in the summer.

Shopping & Dining

There are no restaurants or shopping right in Knutsford, however, it’s only a short drive into nearby Sahali and Aberdeen, which has a large selection of retailers and restaurants to choose from.

Parks & Recreation

There are no parks in Knutsford, as it is very rural, however there is the Knusford Hall which is a popular place for locals. It hosts different community events and gatherings with a capacity of up to 110 people. Popular outdoor activities in this area include fishing, boating, ATVing, horseback riding, hunting and more.


Students from Knutsford take the school district bus into town and have the choice of attending a few different schools, mainly in Aberdeen or Sahali. Most of the bus routes take approximately 15 to 30 minutes. The school district website has more information on enrollments and school catchment areas.


There is no transportation service in Knutsford, but has easy, quick access to the 5A and Trans Canada highways.
